Starting your career

Bring your curiosity, motivation and fresh perspectives to the table. You will learn quickly, take on responsibility and grow alongside your tasks. We will support you with development opportunities, feedback and the space you need to try things out.

At United Internet, you will find a wide range of opportunities to start your career, whether after an apprenticeship, a degree or with some initial practical experience. You will contribute your knowledge, work on real tasks from the outset and gradually take on more responsibility. An open working environment and short decision-making processes make your start easier and help you settle into the team quickly.

To get you started, we support you with structured onboarding programmes and subject-specific introductions. Regular feedback sessions then guide your development and highlight how you can further advance your career. To this end, we offer individual training opportunities and programmes for particularly committed talents.

Whether you join us directly in a junior role or choose one of our trainee programmes, we will support you in shaping a successful career path.

Opportunities with us –
focusing on your development

Our colleagues are shaping the digital future. We make targeted investments in initiatives and development programmes that enable our employees to take on responsibility, grow and shape the next steps in their careers.

  • Individual development

Whether you are taking your first steps in your career or aiming for expert or leadership roles – we support every stage of your career with tailored opportunities. In doing so, we strengthen key competencies such as self-efficacy, collaboration, strategic thinking and leadership. Complementary formats such as coaching, mentoring or learning partnerships ensure that development has a lasting impact.

  • Supporting women

One aspect of our package is a programme designed to support women. It helps participants to build on their strengths in a targeted way, increase their visibility and actively prepare for future roles. For this initiative we were granted the "HR Excellence Award".

  • Networking

A strong network as our foundation. Through cross-functional, internal conferences and events, we create opportunities throughout the year to learn from one another and continually expand our knowledge through internal and external speakers.

Our programme also support the principle of "by employees, for employees" – everyone is warmly invited to share their own knowledge and experiences.
