Tasks

Would you like to gain your first professional experience in a modern digital company in which information security plays a central role? Would you like to get to know the challenges of large distributed IT infrastructures and the organization responsible for them? Then we are looking for you as a working student for our Security Governance & Compliance team, which is responsible for the strategic aspects of information security at Mail & Media.

  • You carry out security-relevant data analyses and prepare the results in a target group-oriented manner so that they enable high-quality decisions to be made.
  • You create and continuously optimize the reporting of security metrics.
  • You automate recurring team tasks with the help of scripts.
  • You will take on various coordination tasks, such as organizing appointments or following up on work packages.

Qualifications

Are you interested in information security and do you see yourself as an all-rounder and problem solver? Do you have a high affinity for technology and business? Are you reliable, open-minded and enjoy working with people? Do you have an analytical and structured way of working? Then we look forward to receiving your application.

  • You are studying (business) informatics and are already enrolled in at least the second year of your Bachelor's or in Master's degree program.
  • You see yourself as an all-rounder and are interested in the technical, economic and strategic aspects of information security. You are a continuous learner, also on your own initiative.
  • You have solid technical knowledge, practical experience with programming languages such as JAVA, Python or JavaScript, and are familiar with common developer tools (Git, build tools, etc.).
  • You are characterized by your commitment and a structured way of working, and you enjoy working successfully with people from different backgrounds.
  • Your ability to communicate orally and in writing (in German and English, both at C1 level) in target group oriented manner complements your profile.
