Consumer Access: Mobile communications & DSL
1&1 offers not only wireless and broadband contracts and thus access to the internet to private and business customers – but there are also are other attractive services such as home networking, online storage, video-on-demand or IPTV, for which our product managers constantly come up with new, innovative ideas. The cloud has fundamentally changed the way applications are provided. The need for companies to run complex applications even without their own data centers accelerates digitization. With our brand IONOS, we are the largest hoster in Europe and have a track record of two decades of experience in technology. Our customers are using more than 8 million packages and expect the best services and most reliable technology. This is why we operate an IaaS-infrastructure with our own code stack. Beside IONOS, our Hosting & Cloud segment includes other international brands such as Strato, arsys, fasthosts, home.pl, InternetX, sedo and worldforyou. Human Resources, Central Purchasing, Corporate Communications, Corporate Controlling, Internal IT: Our corporate businesses take over central tasks to support our individual business segments. This way, comprehensive topics and projects will be reasonably coordinated and implemented together. Attention is also paid to meeting individual requirements of various subsidiaries and to always keep an eye on the overall view of the United Internet Group.
