Tasks

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Fraud and Risk Management Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to identify trends, optimize processes, and mitigate fraud risks. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including product management, operational fraud teams, and technical teams, to drive business growth while minimizing risk.

• Develop and maintain regular reports and ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions and identify trends as well as areas for improvement.
• Perform daily analysis of fraud patterns, support with the fraud detection cleanup and derive preventive anti-fraud measures.
• Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for product management, operational fraud teams and technical teams, providing expert analytical support and guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve risk management tools, processes and data, ensuring they are effective and efficient.

Qualifications

You have a degree (e.g. business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, information management, finance) or a comparable qualification.

• Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Snowflake, Looker and risk management are a plus.
• Knowledge of payment methods is highly appreciated.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for numbers, details and logical dependencies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn and work proactively in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Willing to think outside the box and leave your comfort zone.
• You’ve got the instinct to investigate and the drive to outsmart fraudsters — catching them isn’t just your job, it’s your mission.
• Languages: Fluent written and spoken English skills, German skills are desirable.
