You will partner with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and customer support to deliver clear, accurate, and actionable documentation that supports developers and cloud professionals.

Tasks

• Own the planning, writing, and maintenance of technical documentation including product guides, tutorials, API references, and onboarding content for developers.
• Participate in sprint planning and collaborate across product and engineering teams throughout the feature lifecycle.
• Write and test instructions using the product yourself to ensure workflows are accurate and complete.
• Apply and evolve our docs-as-code workflow using Git, Markdown, and continuous integration pipelines.
• Use customer feedback, analytics, and usability testing to improve documentation clarity and usability.
• Provide guidance during content reviews, mentor less experienced team members, and contribute to internal documentation standards and style guides.
• Drive improvements to tooling, workflows, and documentation processes that enhance team productivity and content quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, scientific, or communications-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience writing technical documentation for software products or cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of documentation tooling such as Git, CI/CD, Markdown, OpenAPI/Swagger, and Postman.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Excellent command of both English and German, written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple documentation projects in parallel.
• Strong ability to analyze complex technical systems and communicate them clearly to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience improving documentation strategy across teams or departments.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards, structured content, and localization.
• Ability to evaluate and introduce tooling to support scaling documentation efforts.
