For our Network Reliability Engineering department, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Reliability Engineer. You will be part of the NRE Provisioning team which is focusing on deploying hyperscaling network fabrics to seamlessly connect platforms and products, as well as platform-agnostic network services on top to ensure universal applicability and integration. You will also be responsible for analyzing and improving existing workflows, identifying and implementing efficiency gains, and ensuring that our global network infrastructure is provisioned and deployed in a timely and efficient manner. You will collaborate closely with NRE Automation to develop and enhance the necessary pipelines and automation tooling, aiming to minimize manual steps and optimize efficiency. Additionally, you will work in tandem with NRE Operations to align with operational requirements and ensure a smooth handover process.

Tasks

• Network Infrastructure: Implement, and expand hyperscale network fabrics to seamlessly connect diverse global platforms and products.
• Workflow Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing network provisioning workflows and processes, including capacity management, deployment, and handover to operations.
• Automation Development: Collaborate with the NRE Automation team to develop and enhance pipelines and tooling, aiming to minimize manual steps and maximize automation in network deployments.
• Operational Alignment: Work closely with NRE Operations to align provisioning processes with operational requirements and facilitate smooth handovers of network infrastructure.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, IT operations, and network services, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Project Management: Manage project plans and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
• Supplier Management: Oversee supplier and supply chain management processes to ensure timely and on-demand delivery of hardware and components.
• On-call Rotation: Engage in regular on-call rotations to provide expert support for network issues during non-business hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in operating large network infrastructure based on Juniper and Cisco, familiarity with SONiC and experience in cloud networking paradigms is a plus
• Solid experience in Linux-based system administration and shell scripting
• Solid understanding of network protocols, architectures and technologies, including routing, switching 
• Profound knowledge in the development and implementation of network automation solutions with Python, Ansible, Puppet, Gitlab
• Fluent communication in English to communicate with international teams.
