Fasthosts exposes the true potential of SMB cloud adoption at IP ExpoShare
Fasthosts will unveil the power of the modern workforce with its ‘Mobile Working for SMBs 101' at IP Expo this October - designed to demystify the buzzwords and give SMBs an insight into the benefits of migrating to hosted email.
Entering into its eighth year, IP Expo 2013 will bring together its biggest list of attendees yet – with over 250 leading exhibitors, 18 seminar theatres and 280 seminars all taking place under one roof.
Rob Sullivan, Business Development Manager at Fasthosts, will take to the stage on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th October to present two seminars on the topic of SMB cloud adoption. Sullivan’s first presentation outlines the ways in which SMBs can work smarter with hosted email. "According to the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF), email services is one of the main areas of adoption for UK businesses," Sullivan commented. "More and more SMBs are now recognising that by embracing mobile working they can maximise productivity without compromising on cost. At IP Expo I will be discussing the key reasons why businesses are opting to migrate their email to a hosted solution. Thanks to cloud computing, hosted infrastructure and mobile technology, UK SMBs are seeing a real difference and are hot on the heels of the larger players by being able to match their resources."
On the second day, Fasthosts will be presenting the 10 steps to the cloud for SMBs white paper, in which factors to consider when moving any part of their IT infrastructure to the cloud are detailed. Join Sullivan at 13.50 at the Cloud Infrastructure stage to find out how SMBs are successfully integrating cloud computing into their businesses.
Simon Yeoman, General Manager at Fasthosts, added: "Companies of all shapes and sizes in all industries have migrated to the cloud. There is a common misconception among businesses that only large enterprises are integrating cloud services, but in reality it is also becoming the popular business choice for SMBs - over half of UK SMBs are now using at least one hosted or cloud-based service, with it predicted to rise to over 75 per cent by the end of the year."
Yeoman continued: "Up until recently, SMBs have viewed the whole concept of cloud computing as unfamiliar and unsafe – we want to alter these views and educate businesses on the benefits of migration and the important steps they can take to gain a business advantage."
Fasthosts will also be running a quick survey on mobile working for visitors to complete, which will be held at the Fasthosts stand (E39) at the show. All participants who complete the survey will be entered into the running to win an iPhone 5.
The Fasthosts team will be available throughout the event for media briefings. To schedule a meeting, please visit the stand or contact email@example.com.
